From the 17th till the 19th of 2008, an academic meeting was held at the Depatment of Languages and Linguistics, Faculty of Liberal Arts, University Prince of Songkla Hatnyai, Thailand. In conjunction with National Writers Assosiation Malaysia (PENA), the colloquium aims to promote academic discussion in a friendly atmosphere among language teachers, scholars, and graduate students on topic and isues related a number of research papers based on empirical studies and recent information on culture, language and literaly education of both countries. Relizing that these papers full of such information deserves to be disseminated to a large audience to improve their understanding about the academic world that is acting as a cross-cultural evperience, hence this book was published.
